The computers currently running Office 2013 are not. Seeing which device has Office is the problem.Īll these computers running Office 2010 are reimaged every year. I was using VMS key for Office 20 but that lead to problems so I am using MAKs for 2013s and I ran the Office 2010 patch on the server. They are showing License Status as Unknown but Genuine and there is no 'not activated' warning when

Interestingly, 6 of these computers had a fresh install of Office 2010 in Aug 2016 but show "Date of Last License Status" as Sept 2015. I only have 21 that are successful though, showing the GVLK product key. Other computers running Windows 7 and Office 2010 and they are reporting successfully. These computers are in a computer lab and I was having trouble getting them to report a month or 2 ago. I don't want them to show as unlicensed in a month or 2. I'm just not sure how or when the reporting date is. None of these devices show up under Office products in VAMT but they are currentlyĪctivated and licensed. Now they only report Windows on these specific computers.

Historically, when I ran Update license status, it would detect Windows and Office and report a status. These computers are running Windows 7 and Office 2010. I see the computers under Windows Products. If I run that with local SYSTEM privileges, will it accomplish the desired result? If no fix is possible quickly, can anyone suggest a non-user-interactive workaround? For example, I downloaded the "Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant". Can anyone suggest where the problem is and a way to fix it?Ģ. (We have made the fix to add esd to the recognized MIME types on the IIS server for WSUS.)ġ.

Online about what this means or how to fix it. In the WSUS Status Report for all these Failed computers, the Event reported is always " ReportingEvent.Client.167 Parameters: Feature update to Windows 10 Enterprise, version 1607, en-us".

Except for the version 1607 upgrade, most of these computers are current with all other Windows Updates. No one, even technical users, has seen any pop up dialog boxes or other windows that might be waitingįor a user action. Stopping and restarting the Windows Update service does not help. Progress bar sits at 0% (or in one case, 1%) forever. The report I have from users is that the "Feature update" appears available, it starts, and the Downloading This "Feature update" is visible in our WSUS server and approved for 70 of those computers, but has failed on about 98% of them. We need to complete these upgrades during the break between our academic terms, because We have about 150 computers running Windows 10 Enterprise version 1511, that we want to upgrade to version 1607 with our WSUS server running on Windows Server 2012 R2.
